I was tasked with modeling a computer mouse as part of the interview process for an industrial design firm. The aim of the test was to confirm my ability to model organic surfaces in CAD. An organic surface is one that can accurately capture complicated geometries and curvatures of real-life surfaces. The curved surfaces of a computer mouse are a prime example of an organic surface that can be modeled in CAD. For the interview, I was able to develop the simple computer mouse model shown in the video and figure.
